Transition Skills for Individuals Who are Higher-Functioning
Sixty-five higher-functioning transition skills are identified for students
who intend to live and work independently as adults. These 65 skills are grouped
into seven categories: Workplace Skills and Attitudes, Responsibility, Interacting
with Others, Basic Academic Skills, Habits of Wellness, Planning for Success,
and Computer and Internet Skills.
