Train Your Staff

Download Training Information (pdf)

A Targeting Transition trainer will come to your site and train your staff in how to use the Targeting Transition program.

Recommended Training

We recommend that training be conducted on two separate days, at least six weeks apart.   The first day of training is called Introductory Training and includes the basic materials and skills necessary to use the Targeting Transition program.   The second day of training, Advanced Training involves (1) a deeper understanding of the program, (2) how to use the Targeting Transition software, and (3) how to use the online activities to teach transition skills.

Combined Training

Some districts opt to combine the two days of training into one day.   The Combined Training day is held in a computer lab and provides participants with the basic program and technology skills needed to implement the Targeting Transition program.

Training Materials and Costs

Training costs are based on the number of staff to be trainer and include participant materials, trainer honorarium, and travel expenses.
